My Philosophy
A client looking for the right translator finds themselves in the curious position of not being able to judge the work they are paying for. After all, if they were fluent in the language, they wouldn't need a translator. Only once they have sent out their report to shareholders, or put their text on the museum wall, will the target audience's reaction tell them whether a translator has lived up to their expectations. This means that trust is a critical part of the translation process, and that is why I strive to work closely with my clients. This allows me to capture their concepts and ideas in a way that achieves the intended outcome of the original text while carefully navigating the nuances of the target language to help my clients stand out, no matter the context.
